Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an EVS Director to oversee housekeeping operations in a healthcare setting. You will coordinate with Assistant Directors and Operations Managers, and serve as the liaison between administration and hospital departments.

Responsibilities include managing the department budget, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies while driving total quality management initiatives and staff development.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or related experience is required.
• Three years of housekeeping management experience in a healthcare account is required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• General business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals.
• Proficient in Windows Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for department’s financial data and statistics.
• Monitoring of unit expenditures.
• Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget.
• Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Acts as liaison between administration and hospital departments.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises department functions.
• Establishes work standards and workflow.
• Implements policies and procedures for department operations.
• Encourages and mentors staff Creativity and innovation.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Proactive in achieving facility goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates leadership in meeting performance plans.
• Reads, develops, and administers Total Quality Management process.
• Develops and maintains job descriptions for department staff.
• Encourages staff to participate in education programs.
