Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks an EVS Director to oversee housekeeping operations, mentor Directors and Managers, and liaise with hospital administration. You will manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive QMS initiatives to meet facility goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role demands a four-year degree (or equivalent), healthcare housekeeping leadership experience, and strong financial acumen with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience required.
• Three years housekeeping management experience in a healthcare account required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• General business acumen and customer service orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet objectives.
• Proficient with Windows-based Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
• Coordinate tasks of Assistant Directors and Operations Managers.
• Liaise between hospital administration and other departments.
• Manage and monitor department financial data and statistics.
• Develop and manage the operating budget and ensure adherence to it.
• Plan, organize, and supervise department functions and workflow.
• Establish policies, procedures, and work standards for operations.
• Mentor staff and promote creativity and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Support facility goals and objectives and drive quality leadership.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and encourage education participation.
