Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Assistant Director of Environmental Services in Beaumont, TX. You will support the Director in directing the Housekeeping Department, coordinating Operations Managers, and serving as a key liaison between administration and hospital departments to deliver exceptional service.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), progressive healthcare housekeeping experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history required.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in health care housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff, to function under stress, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with understanding of facility needs.
• Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and terminates housekeeping personnel per standards.
• Orients, trains, develops and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and evaluations; recommends action items and assists with relocations.
• Conducts regular staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Schedules major project work and ensures adequate staff and supplies.
• Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assists Department Director with budgets.
