Responsibilities

• High touch surface disinfection and cleaning.
• Properly clean and disinfect all areas including clinical inpatient/outpatient spaces and offices.
• Handle and dispose of medical waste and sharps with proper precautions.
• Use proper chemicals, tools, and equipment for each situation.
• Clean spills containing blood or other potentially infectious material following infection control procedures.
• Occasionally travel to off-site locations.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines and wear PPE.
• Complete training and represent the department professionally.
