Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient and resident areas, following infection control, safety, and facility guidelines in a non-profit healthcare setting.

This full-time, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday requirements, and includes a location premium of $2.50/hr. High standards of cleanliness and teamwork are essential to support patient care and building operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas.
• Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors.
• Operate cleaning equipment and apply infection control guidelines.
• Assist in laundry areas as appropriate and use technology applications when needed.
