Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate for the third shift in Winston-Salem. You will perform comprehensive cleaning of patient and facility areas, maintain sanitation standards, and support a safe hospital environment.

The role includes a 40-hour work week with every-other weekend rotation and holiday requirements. High school diploma or GED is preferred, with one year of experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Prioritizes assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Works occasionally in extreme temperatures and around unpleasant smells.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, floors, and fixtures.
• Handles waste and sharps disposal per procedures.
• Keeps cleaning equipment clean and reports equipment failures.
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Attends required in-service education and training.
