Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Tyndall, SD. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, sanitary environment in patient/resident areas, following infection control guidelines.

Hours vary with a part-time schedule (20 hours per week) and a pay range of $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available; benefits and other details apply to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas by following infection control, safety, and procedures.
• Clean patient/resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas to meet health standards.
• Assist in laundry areas as appropriate and use pagers or technology as needed.
