Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician at Advocate South Suburban Hospital to clean and disinfect patient areas, offices and common spaces, following established procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and adherence to safety and infection-control policies; offers full-time hours, alternating weekends/holidays, and a pay range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to operate small electrical equipment such as vacuum cleaners; good English communication.
• Excellent customer service and adherence to safety and infection-control policies.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following department procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and support infection-control practices.
• Assist with restocking supplies and waste management as required.
