Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a general cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas of the hospital. This role supports a clean, safe environment and follows established infection control standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting fixtures and surfaces, assisting with patient room turnover, removing waste, and upholding quality and safety policies while delivering outstanding service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning tasks for offices, hallways, and assigned areas.
• Cleans and disinfects fixtures, floors, bathrooms, and surfaces.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; polishes fixtures.
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
• Assists with stocking rooms and preparing spaces for patients.
