Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Environmental Services team member to perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, following a 7-step cleaning process and remaking beds after discharge cleaning.

Must be able to work every other weekend and lift up to 50 pounds; on-the-job training is provided and prior cleaning or healthcare experience is preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a stable hospital environment.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Related experience in cleaning or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows a 7-Step cleaning process and the remaking of beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning.
• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows maintenance schedule for floors and carpets.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operating compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes all disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations following completion of job.
