Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Environmental Services team member to perform routine cleaning following a 7-step process and assist with discharge cleaning.

You will clean fixtures, floors, walls, and exterior equipment, empty trash, replenish supplies, and move furnishings as needed. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety standards; on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time, first-shift role with benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows and exterior equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, and operates compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings after cleaning.
• Performs various floor care methods as required (dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, etc.).
