Yona Solutions in Texarkana, AR seeks a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry teams in a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure clean, safe, and sanitary environments while coordinating with other departments.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree, healthcare supervision experience, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills. You will train staff, maintain compliance with regulations, and strive for resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired
• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work
• Maintains sanitary, attractive and orderly environment
• Forecasts and plans purchase of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Schedules staffing to ensure adequate services
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, finances, personnel)
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments
• Manages a cost‑effective program to budget
• Keeps department survey-ready and compliant with regulations
• Maintains resident, visitor, and department relations
• Participates in facility meetings and development
• Follows company policies and promotes growth
• Conducts quality assurance rounds and reports initiatives
• Promotes resident satisfaction
• Performs duties of housekeeping/laundry/floor care as needed
