Grandview Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Worker II to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role includes floor care, waste handling, linen management, spill cleanup, and adherence to infection control standards.

Responsibilities include sanitizing patient rooms and common areas, complying with hospital policies, and reporting maintenance needs.

Formación

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to safely handle biohazardous and infectious waste per infection control standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules.
• Good communication with staff, patients, and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Performs floor care tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing surfaces.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or relocation.
• Monitors cleaning supplies usage and ensures safe storage.
• Communicates maintenance and repair needs to supervisor or facilities.
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
