Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training position in Massachusetts, Wilmington, with a structured 12-week paid program to learn to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

The role includes hands-on and computer-based training and opportunities for career development within HCSG. The program emphasizes compliance with policies and state/federal requirements, while developing leadership and record-keeping skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and reports.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
