Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program to learn how to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility. The 12-week paid program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for leadership in environmental services within healthcare settings.

Participants gain exposure to policy compliance, scheduling, and staff development while supporting resident experiences and service

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports (web-based reporting).
• Residency within the service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, communicating directives.
