Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a supervisor for Environmental Services to lead day-to-day staff operations, training, and development. You will partner with Infection Prevention to improve patient experience by ensuring high cleanliness standards across patient rooms, corridors, and care areas.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional service. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is essential, with a focus on maintaining Parkland policies and safety

Qualifications

• Six years of experience managing employees in an environmental services or service-focused field.
• Strong understanding of Federal and State environmental regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Must read and follow Parkland policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned staff and infection prevention methods to maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, essential care areas, corridors, and related spaces.
• Recruit, interview, and train staff to optimize performance and service delivery.
• Maintain proper use and care of materials, equipment and supplies; requisition and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with hospital contacts to promote optimal customer service and satisfaction.
• Communicate expectations and conduct evaluations; support progressive discipline as needed.
