Qualifications

• Four-year college degree strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Experience supervising staff in healthcare environmental services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and orients housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises department functions and activities.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment for residents and staff.
• Forecasts and plans supplies and equipment; manages staffing schedules.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and personnel files.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure survey readiness and quality controls.
