Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will coordinate staff, ensure sanitary, safe conditions, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines to support high-quality resident care.

The role requires a four-year degree with healthcare housekeeping supervision experience; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals; public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions and activities.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans purchasing of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment; manages staffing.
