Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• CHESP or CHEST preferred.
• Three years experience in hospital housekeeping; lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct daily patient rounding on assigned units.
• Introduce self and the Environmental Services department using the AIDET framework and confirm room cleanliness.
• Resolve patient concerns during rounds; initiate service recovery and escalate issues as needed.
• Document rounding data and review trends with staff and leadership.
• Deliver real-time coaching to Environmental Services staff based on observations.
• Coordinate shift opening; assign staff and issue keys/pagers when supervisor is absent.
• Monitor EPIC bed tracking; ensure turnaround time targets are met and report performance.
• Ensure discharges/transfers are completed promptly and bed turnover quality is verified.
• Assist in training new employees and orienting staff.
• Support planning and execution of Environmental Services daily functions.
