St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Group Leader for Environmental Services to coordinate daily cleaning operations inside the hospital, manage staff shifts, and ensure a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

You will oversee move requests, assign aides, and monitor equipment maintenance while enforcing department policies. The role emphasizes training new employees and maintaining high cleanliness standards across all areas.

Qualifications

• Supervises Environmental Services staff and coordinates shift moves.
• Ensures cleaning quality and safety standards.
• Provides training and orientation to new employees.
• Monitors equipment and implements preventive maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates moves and set-ups for other departments and off-site buildings.
• Assists in shift opening, assigns aides, and issues keys/pagers when supervisor is unavailable.
• Assigns and delegates work to Environmental Services aides.
• Addresses policy/procedure issues for Environmental Services.
• Performs basic maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Checks equipment batteries weekly for maintenance.
• Assists in onboarding new staff.
• Supports daily planning and monitoring of Environmental Services.
• Ensures timely discharges and transfers.
• Ensures daily meeting setup requests are completed on time.
• Supports housekeeping during staff shortages.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover absences.
• Supports quality control inspections and follow-ups.
