Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a skilled nursing facility. You will lead staff, ensure sanitary and safe operations, and coordinate with facility teams to maintain high-quality resident care.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, experience in healthcare housekeeping supervision, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexible scheduling and a passion for excellent service are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and to work around cleaning chemicals.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality attitude; ability to work under pressure and meet goals.
• Proficiency in Windows-based Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department activities.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans purchases of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and maintains staff levels.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel.
• Conducts management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
