Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee the housekeeping and laundry departments in a skilled nursing facility. You will coordinate staff, ensure sanitary and safe conditions, and maintain supply and budget controls.

The role requires leadership in a healthcare setting, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to drive quality resident care while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Competenze

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Ability to motivate and supervise staff members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and quality attitude.
• Proficient in Windows based office software (MS Office suite).
• Ability to interact positively with residents, clients and staff.

Mansioni

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the department.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work completed by department employees.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel records.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Manages a cost-effective program to budget and ensures survey-readiness at all times.
• Maintains excellent relations with residents and staff and participates in facility meetings.
• Promotes professional growth and development of the department team.
• Conducts quality assurance rounds and reports initiatives and accomplishments.
