Job summary

Northwest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an EVS Aide to perform day-to-day housekeeping duties in a healthcare setting. You will ensure clean and safe environments in resident areas and support the facility’s safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities include following cleaning schedules, reporting incidents, coordinating with nursing staff, and using proper protective equipment when handling chemicals and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Must be willing to interact harmoniously with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate housekeeping with nursing staff during routine cleaning in living areas.
• Clean fixtures, floors, and waste disposal per procedures.
• Follow safety precautions and PPE usage when handling chemicals.
