Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship. The program gives hands-on exposure to enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategy within a healthcare setting.

Interns work with risk professionals and leaders on projects spanning risk reporting, governance, and analytics. Participants will develop analytical, research, and communication skills through mentorship and project-based learning, preparing for diverse roles in ERM,

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently; visa sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsabilités

• Assist with enterprise risk reporting and documentation.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends for risk taxonomy development.
• Maintain risk-related data and reporting tools.
• Support risk assessments and governance activities.
• Prepare executive-facing materials and proposals for action.
• Participate in strategic projects across Enterprise Risk & Governance.
• Develop foundational knowledge of enterprise risk management within healthcare.
