Job summary

BankUnited in Orlando seeks a seasoned Commercial Lender to originate and manage lending solutions for specialized industries. The role involves interviewing applicants, analyzing financial data, and structuring terms with collateral requirements to fit credit policy.

You will lead a team of Corporate Lenders, coach staff, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to grow production and cross-sell bank services while staying compliant with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance required.
• 4–6 years of C&I lending experience in a specialized area.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Achieves individually assigned production/portfolio growth objectives.
• Leads and coaches a team of Corporate Lenders, ensuring that their individual goals are met.
• Interviews loan applicants, and collects and analyzes financial data to determine creditworthiness.
• Establishes and negotiates terms under which credit will be extended, including collateral requirements.
• Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary action to collect from past-due accounts.
