The role partners with Risk Management and outside counsel to protect the organization while supporting staff and operational needs. Responsibilities include conducting internal investigations, drafting employment agreements, and delivering training on evolving employment laws.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive employment law experience, including litigation.
• Massachusetts Bar in good standing and admission to practice law.
• Experience advising organizations on employment risk and compliance.
• Strong research, writing, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to guide leadership and HR on complex workplace matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership and Human Resources on employment and labor relations matters.
• Manage employment-related litigation and government investigations.
• Lead internal workplace investigations and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Draft and negotiate employment, physician, severance, and settlement agreements.
• Develop and deliver training on employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Stay informed on changes in employment law and industry trends.
