River Park Hospital is seeking an Education Coordinator to oversee educational programs within our behavioral health setting. You will manage initiatives for staff and patients, develop curriculum content, and ensure smooth operation of educational activities.

The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, experience in education management, and a passion for fostering learning environments that support recovery and development.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• WV certified teacher credential is required.
• Proficient with general clerical tasks and computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to serving diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Meet educational goals and requirements for the program.
• Develop individualized lesson plans based on age, diagnosis, and population.
• Liaise with county Board of Education on enrollment, grades, and testing.
• Represent Corporate Education and develop annual education plans and reports.
• Provide progress reports to treatment teams, families, and schools.
• Utilize crisis intervention skills to support patients and safety.
• Schedule and mentor RPH teachers to meet county standards.
• Document patient progress on treatment plans and education needs.
• Lead quarterly meetings with teachers to plan PRTF educational services.
