Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company focused on advancing health. This role in Interventional Urology and Critical Care supports physician offices and hospital staff with medical supplies and service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of call center or customer service experience, with strong reading/mathematical skills and knowledge of HIPAA and Medicare guidelines. On-site Florida presence is required, with policy-based flexibility as posted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year call center or customer service experience. Medical Industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, procedures, and training tools; write internal/external correspondence and present information.
• Ability to apply intermediate math skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving in the face of varied variables.

Responsibilities

• Contacts physician office staff via phone, fax, or email to obtain medical documentation.
• Develops and maintains knowledge in Medical Supplies and/or Insurance Guidelines.
• Identify and resolve customer service-related issues professionally.
• Support customer service initiatives with Sales Operations as defined by company goals.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly inbound or outbound call goals.
