Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Distribution Tech to accurately fill supply orders for the network of hospitals, offsite centers, and corporate departments. This role supports the offsite Distribution Center through routine tasks, packaging, shipment preparation, and inventory control.

The position works with Par Replenishment Teams on LUM replenishment and restocking schedules across campus facilities to ensure timely delivery of materials to patient care areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in material handling/distribution required.
• Healthcare product distribution experience preferred.
• HM certification: MHE HM Houston Methodist Material Handling Equipment Certified with 2-year renewal due within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive work environment and supports efficient order fulfillment to meet daily truck departures.
• Collaborates with Sr. Distribution Techs to restock or process recently received items.
• Maintains accurate inventory and ensures items are properly labeled and stored.
