Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a production supervisor to lead a team of dispatchers and courier operations in Phoenix. You will guide front-line staff, ensure timely routing across Arizona, and uphold quality and safety standards to support patient care.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations, coordinating QA/QC, monitoring budgets, and acting as a liaison with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Leadership role in healthcare, laboratory, or high-volume production (2 years) or 1 year + associate degree.
• Strong ability to prioritize, analyze, and communicate.
• Experience with multiple software systems.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise staff; set priorities and workflows.
• Oversee ordering, supplies, problem solving, and policy implementation.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities and monitor quality metrics.
• Monitor budgets and drive cost reduction and waste reduction.
• Serve as liaison to internal/external customers and support teamwork.
