Job summary

Ohio Living in Akron is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily kitchen operations and resident dining experiences. You will perform meals service, assist in food delivery, maintain clean work areas, and help with special events while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and are able to read, write, and speak English. Training is provided, and weekend/evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required. On-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are appetizing for residents.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment; assists in cleaning duties.
• Assists in executing special events and participates in planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
• Maintains current records through use of computers or other documentation as required.
