Unidine Healthcare, a member of Compass Group USA, seeks a Retail Manager to lead cafeteria operations under the Director of Dining Services. You will supervise staff, oversee payroll, hiring and training of hourly associates, and ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Food Services Management or related field plus 1–3 years of retail foodservice management experience, with strong knowledge of food trends and cost controls.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1–3 years retail foodservice management experience.
• Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost controls and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises special functions, payroll and hiring of hourly staff.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and maintains public relations.
• Directs staff to provide scheduled retail services per policy.
• Trains staff in service, portioning, cashiering and safety/sanitation.
• Completes reports per corporate policies on time.
• Communicates effectively with team members, patients and families.
• Maintains cash handling standards to prevent loss of funds.
