Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for full-time Food Service Worker positions at Children’s Mercy Kansas in Leawood, KS. You will assist on patient dining, help with menu selections, and ensure meals are delivered safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Support dietitians and communicate any concerns to appropriate staff.
