Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a DX Product Owner to define and deliver digital health products that enhance customer experience and clinical workflows. This role owns the roadmap and backlog, partnering with business, clinical, and technology teams to drive value and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, guide development through agile ceremonies, and measure outcomes with data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 5+ years in Product Owner or related role.
• Experience with agile product development teams.
• Healthcare payer/insurance experience preferred.
• Translate business/clinical needs into product requirements.
• Manage multiple products and/or scrum teams.
• Experience with SCRUM and/or SAFe methodologies.
• Define and prioritize business requirements and validate product capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Define/maintain product roadmap aligned to strategy and customer needs; translates priorities into initiatives and delivery plans.
• Own/prioritize backlog to maximize value; write requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering/delivery teams through agile ceremonies to guide development; ensure quality and compliance.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and dependency management; support change adoption.
• Use data to evaluate success, inform prioritization, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with privacy, security, compliance, and accessibility teams to ensure requirements are integrated into delivery and release documentation.
