Douglas County Health Center is seeking an Intake/Data Entry Clerk to support meal planning for patients and residents at the DCHC/CMHC. The role involves updating dietary information in EMR and food service software, ensuring diet orders are followed, and providing customer service to residents and families.

You will print meal tickets, assist with meal selections, and generate routine reports while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with clinical staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year data entry/clerical experience supporting nutritional care preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish ability may be required.
• Pre-employment criminal record check and drug screen required.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Aufgaben

• Enter and maintain patient/resident dietary information in electronic medical records and food service software, ensuring meals meet diet orders.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with clients, supervisors, County employees, officials, attorneys, law enforcement, and the public.
• Print meal tickets and updated menu cards for the assigned meal; assist residents with meal selection.
• Generate reports for Food Service Supervisors and staff; monitor inventories and budgets.
• Answer calls in the Nutrition Office and assist with meal orders; admit/discharge CMHC and Day Treatment patients.
