The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare litigation, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. On-site, permanent role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar required.
• 3+ years of experience handling medical malpractice, professional liability, healthcare litigation, or related defense matters.
• Long-term care, nursing home, assisted living, or healthcare provider defense experience strongly preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Represent healthcare providers in medical malpractice and professional liability matters.
• Manage assigned cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and litigation planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Provide representation and guidance in matters involving healthcare licensing boards.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex matters.
