Job summary

ELLKAY is seeking a Technical Manager to lead a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of projects in healthcare data analytics. The role includes hiring, onboarding, and training, with an emphasis on process improvement and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in leadership and substantial experience with Epic data systems, HIPAA security, and data governance, driving performance and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science or related field (master’s preferred).
• 2+ years in a team leadership or management role; 3+ years in healthcare data analytics, migration or ETL.
• Experience with Epic systems migration or strong Epic implementation knowledge.
• Understanding of Epic data structures and data extraction/conversion processes.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, data governance, security and healthcare regulations.
• Proven ability to improve team performance and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team performance to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Evaluate outcomes and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Manage resource allocation aligned with project timelines.
• Attend client meetings to provide technical support and coordinate requirements.
• Interview and onboard new team members with training and support.
• Foster growth through mentorship and constructive feedback.
