Job summary

000Z60 Employers Reassurance Corporation is seeking a data analytics professional to lead and expand analytical and data science capabilities across the Long-Term Care Insurance business. You will leverage healthcare and claims data to identify trends and support data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building predictive models, performing statistical research, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders. Hybrid/remote work within the U.S. is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, Data Analytics, Actuarial Sciences, or related field.
• Significant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related analytical field.
• Healthcare data experience is required.
• Experience working with claims data is required.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in data science and predictive modeling is required with actuary studies a plus.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Proven ability to translate analytical results into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Experience sourcing and working with data from external partners and third‑party data providers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to develop and enhance analytical and data science capabilities across the Long-Term Care Insurance business.
• Leverage healthcare and claims data to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Design, build, and apply predictive models and other advanced analytical solutions to address key business questions.
• Carrying out statistical research, prototyping new systems, and finding new ways of gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data.
• Work within a robust data platform to analyze complex datasets, including exploratory data analysis (EDA) and produce meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Foster creative, thoughtful, and rigorous analysis to enhance reporting and deepen understanding of key business drivers.
• Support the organization’s multi-year journey toward greater analytical maturity and data-driven decision-making.
• Communicate results clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including business leaders.
