Kyowa Kirin North America is seeking a data scientist to apply advanced analytics and data-driven insights across Oncology, Rare Disease, and CNS franchises. The role reports to the Senior Director of Business Insights and Analytics and advances analytics capabilities using data mining, statistical modeling, and AI/ML best practices.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in data science, strong business acumen, and proven ability to gain stakeholder trust while delivering innovative solutions

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, computer science, economics, applied math or related field.
• 10+ years in data science, statistics, and business analysis.
• Experience with healthcare data and cross-industry exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for ML and BI to generate market insights.
• Develop AI/ML in fracture and other strategic initiatives.
• Implement analytics to support commercial teams with ML and AI techniques.
• Enhance predictive analytics to influence business decisions.
• Leverage cloud, AI/ML for data integration and governance.
• Build predictive models for commercial applications.
• Scale algorithms from PoC to production efficiently.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
