Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Data Science Research & Development graduate internship to apply advanced data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering techniques to solve complex clinical and healthcare challenges.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, interns will develop innovative solutions utilizing clinical, medical, and healthcare insurance data, with exposure to Graphs, Imaging, Predictive Modeling, and Generative AI applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate degree pursued full or part-time preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced data science, ML, AI, and software engineering techniques to healthcare challenges.
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to develop analytical solutions.
