Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Systems Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data ecosystem. You will oversee data architecture, integrations, and analytics initiatives across clinical, financial, HR, revenue cycle, and operations to ensure trusted data for decision-making.

The role collaborates with business leaders to deliver scalable data solutions, improve governance and quality, and support enterprise reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, MIS or related field with 4+ years of full-time software development experience; or
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field with 6+ years of full-time experience in software development.
• Experience developing data pipelines and working with healthcare analytics across operational, financial, HR, clinical and revenue cycle data.
• Experience supporting BI and analytics platforms (Power BI, etc.) and data governance/quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data architecture, integrations, and data management solutions.
• Design and optimize data pipelines across clinical, operational, financial, and workforce systems.
• Oversee ETL processes ensuring secure, accurate data transfer.
• Develop scalable data models, reporting datasets, semantic layers, and data virtualization.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Promote data governance, validation, reconciliation, and quality management.
