Job summary

Verda Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Informatics Analyst to manage and organize healthcare data using industry-standard tools.

You will work with Operations, Clinical, and IT leadership to analyze data, identify trends, and translate requirements into usable reports and visualizations. You will build data models, develop clinical decision support tools, produce analytical trending reports, and recommend improvements to increase healthcare quality and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years’ experience with relational databases and data analytics tools to develop data visualizations and dashboards.
• Experience with data analysis to provide trend reporting to senior leaders.
• Cross-functional collaboration across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical decision support tools and analytics to assist Verda leadership in evidence-based decisions.
• Develop and implement analytical trending reports to uncover patterns and communicate improvements.
• Build data models by collecting and integrating data from disparate sources.
• Recommend ways to increase healthcare quality or reduce health plan costs based on data analysis.
• Handle special projects as assigned; travel may be required.
