Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to analyze clinical data, design data-centric software, and build pipelines that support healthcare operations. You will work closely with Product, Platform, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Your expertise in Hadoop/Spark/NoSQL, Python and SQL will drive data integration, analytics and ML/AI capabilities across our enterprise information services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years as a Senior Data Engineer.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data-centric software to support clinical and operational processes.
• Mentor junior Data Engineers and contribute to R&D of new technologies.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform and Architecture teams to deliver joint efforts.
• Build data pipelines, transformations and provisioning layers to meet key initiatives.
