Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) is hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst II to lead data analyses, build reports, and apply statistical methods for quality programs. The role combines data mining, modeling, and interpretation across clinical and provider teams in a hybrid setup.

The position emphasizes relational databases, Power BI, SAS, and SQL expertise with collaboration across leadership. Remote work is part of the schedule, with onsite visits in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with large data sets and relational database structures.
• Master’s degree required; or Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of additional relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Power BI, SAS and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead in analysis and reporting efforts for Clinical and Provider teams, programs, and quality activities.
• Interpret and translate complex health plan data and trends into actionable strategies.
• Present findings to executive, leadership, and staff audiences in accessible formats.
• Develop and maintain reports and data mining procedures ensuring accurate conclusions.
• Apply statistical modeling to health plan, provider, and member analyses.
• Design and enhance databases to support reporting across multiple data sources.
