Job summary

Quest Analytics seeks a highly analytical Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large-scale healthcare datasets (claims, directory, network files) to uncover trends, measure performance, and drive data-driven strategies for network optimization.

You will leverage SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to identify data quality issues, build KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional partners. Remote/hybrid options available within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a data-heavy field.
• 3+ years in data analysis, preferably healthcare/SaaS/data-intensive environments.
• Experience with large datasets and data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics-driven decisions.
• Strong SQL skills (intermediate–advanced).
• Proficiency with modern data platforms (Databricks, Spark).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Analyze provider network data to resolve entity matching across sources and define data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve quality issues and support initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services on data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze large datasets.
• Contribute to evaluating new analytics technologies and data governance standards.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support product needs.
• Document project work and manage tasks in systems like DevOps.
• Suggest improvements to outreach strategies and data processes.
