Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large healthcare datasets (claims, provider directories) to uncover trends, measure network performance, and support data-driven strategies for provider network optimization.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions, while leveraging SQL, Databricks, Python, and Claude AI to derive insights and ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and conducting in-depth data investigations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages (R, Scala, Java).
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Looker or similar).
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude or similar) to support data analysis and automation.
• Solid understanding of data management, governance, and quality practices.
• Experience defining metrics, KPIs, and data models; and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights across campaigns, clients, and demographics.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching and define data structures across sources.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and derive insights from large datasets.
• Contribute to evaluation and adoption of new analytics technologies.
• Maintain data governance standards ensuring high-quality, reliable data assets.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support Quest products.
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps.
• Identify improvements to data processes and outreach strategies.
