Job summary

Quest Analytics seeks a Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team to enhance health plan network analytics using large healthcare datasets. You will uncover trends, measure performance, and support data-driven strategies for network optimization and data quality governance.

Responsibilities include resolving entity matching, leading data investigations, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and conducting in-depth data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics-driven business decisions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools.
• Programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Experience leveraging AI tools to support data analysis, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data stewardship concepts.
• Ability to define and develop metrics, KPIs, and data models for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across data sources and define data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Utilize SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to maintain data governance standards and data assets.
• Document and track project work in systems such as DevOps.
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes based on insights.
