Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, economics, CS).
• 1-2 years of Python data analysis experience (pandas/numpy) including robust data processing and data quality evaluation.
• Exposure to large-scale datasets; healthcare claims or admin data a plus.
• Ability to perform descriptive analysis and translate findings into charts or summaries.
• Excellent communication to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic familiarity with Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large healthcare datasets from multiple sources to support business decisions.
• Perform exploratory data analyses and assess data quality and usability.
• Contribute to ETL/ELT pipelines using established templates and internal tools.
• Conduct data quality audits, monitor pricing quality and coverage, and propose workarounds for data gaps.
• Gather data requirements through stakeholder meetings and document business needs.
• Collaborate with team to identify key metrics and explain the 'why' behind data requests.
• Document data workflows to identify inefficiencies and risk areas (tools: Miro, Confluence, Jira).
