Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Reporting & Analytics Consultant for a top healthcare client. This consultant will serve as a strategic analytics partner to leadership, leveraging large datasets to drive informed business and financial decisions.

The ideal candidate will combine deep healthcare analytics experience with strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of healthcare industry analytics experience.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting background.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Database management and data warehousing experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
  • Ability to present findings and translate data into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical consultation and decision support to leadership.
  • Analyze cost, utilization, operational, and financial data.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Lead strategic analytics initiatives and workgroups.
  • Create and maintain reporting solutions and BI tools.
  • Perform statistical, predictive, and trend analyses.
  • Develop and automate data workflows and reporting processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs and organizational outcomes.
  • Support project implementation and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, governance standards are maintained.
  • Present findings to leadership and support strategic decision-making.

Job description

Location: Hybrid, onsite 1 time per week in Hyattsville, MD (Wednesday onsite, remote rest of week) - Must live in MD, DC, or VA

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Requirements:

This role will focus heavily on transforming complex data into meaningful insights, developing executive-level reporting, supporting financial and operational initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Top candidates will have experience in healthcare decision support, financial analytics, and data storytelling.

Day-to-Day:

  • Provide analytical consultation and decision support to business and healthcare leadership
