Job summary

SCA Health is building the data and AI foundation to position itself as a leader in ambulatory surgery. The VP, Data & AI will own the enterprise data strategy, platform, and governance, and lead AI/ML capabilities from MLOps to deployment, partnering with clinical and executive leaders to align data initiatives with patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data, analytics, or AI leadership roles.
• 4+ years at VP or equivalent level.
• Experience building enterprise data platforms at scale (cloud-native, modern data stack).
• Healthcare data experience with EHR integration, HIPAA compliance, clinical data structures.
• Hands-on AI/ML leadership from business case through production deployment and monitoring.
• Proven track record building and leading high-performing technical teams of 10+ people.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks in multi-site healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute SCA Health's multi-year data platform roadmap across cloud architectures.
• Lead SCA's AI roadmap from MLOps infrastructure to production deployment and monitoring.
• Establish responsible AI standards, model documentation, and governance processes.
• Partner with senior leaders across product, security, architecture, and clinical teams.
• Build and lead a data and AI team across six functional areas; attract top talent.
